Remote Server Status - View => Remote status

Analysis Monitor - View Menu - New Batch Creation

This window is opened when you click on the Remote Status button in the New Batch Creation dialog box or when you select View => Remote status from the main menu of the analysis monitor. It is also opened, if you click on the Remote Status button in the Server Selection dialog box.

When this window is invoked by clicking on the Remote Status button in the New Batch Creation dialog box or in the Server Selection dialog box, the status of emserver on the remote server selected in the New Batch Creation or Server Selection dialog box is displayed.

When this window is invoked by selecting View => Remote Status from the main menu, the status of emserver on the remote server presently being used by the analysis monitor is displayed.

You are informed if emserver is up and running and if there are presently any jobs executing on the remote server. If emserver is not up on the remote server, you will receive the following message:

Error communicating with remote emserver:

Unable to open socket connection.

If a job is running, the project, the job's status, the user and the client machine are displayed for the job.
