How do I add a palette element to my circuit?

Geometry Elements - Palette of Standard Geometries

To add an element from the palette of standard geometries to your circuit, do the following:

  1. Select Tools => Add Metalization => Element from the project editor main menu where Element is one of the standard geometries: Rectangle, Parallel Lines, Donut, Rectangular Spiral, Round Spiral, Meander, Fan Stub, InterDigCap, and Lange.

  2. The appropriate properties dialog box appears on your display. Enter the desired parameters for the standard geometry in the text entry boxes, then click on the OK button.

  3. When you close the properties dialog box, a black outline of the geometry you specified appears. You may move this outline by moving your mouse. To place the geometry in your circuit, click your mouse where you wish to place it.

Once the geometry has been placed in the circuit, it is treated the same as added polygons. Clicking on the geometry does not open the standard geometry properties dialog box. However, the polygon may be modified using the normal edit and tools commands.
