How do I add a project element?

To add a project element, do the following:

1. Select Tools => Add Project Element from the project editor main menu or click on the Add Project Element icon on the tool bar. The Edit Element dialog box appears on your display configured for a project element.

2. Enter the node to which you wish to connect Port 1 of the network in the Node text entry box in the Port 1 column. Repeat for each Node text entry box until each Port has been assigned a node. If needed, use the scroll bar to access all of the Node entries.

3. Enter the node to which you wish to connect the ground of the project element in the GND text entry box. If you wish to connect the ground of the project element to the ground of the network you are adding it to, leave the default of Gnd.

4. If the project element, or subproject, contains parameters, the present nominal values appear in the text entry boxes in the Entry Parameters section of the dialog box. If you wish to modify these values, you may edit the text entry boxes.

5. If the Hierarchy Sweep is not set in the main project, select which analysis controls the subproject uses, its own or the main project's.

6. Click on the OK button to close the dialog box and add the subproject to the network.
