How do I change a port number on a Component?

Port numbers only appear on a the component ports of a Ports Only type component. To change a port number on a Ports Only type component, do the following:

1. Double-click on the desired component port.
   
   The Component Port Properties dialog box appears on your display.
   
   

2. Enter the desired port number in the Port Number text entry box.

3. Click on the OK button to apply the changes and close the dialog box
   
   The port number is updated in your project editor view. If you wish to change more than one port number, you may use the Next Port buttons to switch to another component Port.
