How do I change my top or bottom metal?

The top or bottom metal of the box may be assigned any metal type defined in the geometry file. There are three predefined metal types available:

• Lossless, models a perfect conductor

• WG Load, models a perfect matched waveguide load.

• Free Space, which removes the top or bottom cover.

To select the top metal, do the following:

1. Select Circuit => Box from the project editor main menu.

2. In the Box Settings dialog box which appears, select the desired metal from the Top Metal drop list.

3. Click on the OK button to close the dialog box and apply the metal type to the top metal.

To select the bottom metal, follow the procedure above, but in Step 3 select the desired metal from the Bottom Metal drop list.
