How do I change the terminal number on a Component?

A terminal number on a component is always associated with an component port. If you wish to change the terminal number associated with a component port, do the following. Note that this procedure does NOT work for a Ports Only type component:

1. Double-click on the desired component port.
   
   The Component Port Properties dialog box appears on your display.
   
   

2. Enter the desired terminal number in the Terminal Number text entry box.

3. Click on the OK button to apply the changes and close the dialog box
   
   The terminal number on the schematic box of the component is updated. If you wish to change more than one terminal number, you may use the Next Port buttons to switch to another component port.
