How do I delete a via?

Geometry Elements - Vias

To delete a via, do the following:

1.   Click on the via to select it.

For a polygon via, you may click anywhere on the polygon to select it. Selection is shown by a black outline of the via polygon. For an edge via, you must click on one of via triangles to select it. The via triangles are all highlighted to indicate selection.

2.   Click on the Cut key on the tool bar or press the Delete key to delete the via.

The via is deleted from your circuit. If the via is a multi-layer via (crosses multiple metal levels), it is deleted from every metal level on which it appeared. If the via is deleted with the ''Cut'' command, it is available on the clipboard and may be pasted into your circuit in another location. Vias maintain a fixed vertical extent when they are pasted on a different metalization layer. The only exception is when the vertical extent is greater than the number of available metalization layers in the circuit. In this case, the via vertical extent is reduced to fit within the available number of metalization layers.
