How do I select an optimization?

After entering your circuit and specifying parameters, you must select the optimization in the Analysis Setup dialog box. Do the following:

1. Select Analysis => Setup from the project editor main menu.

2. In the Analysis Setup dialog box which appears, select Optimization from the Analysis Control drop list. The appearance of the dialog box changes.

3. Click on the Edit button at the upper right hand corner of the parameters list. This opens the Optimization Parameters dialog box which allows you to select parameter(s) and their value range for the optimization. 4. Next, you need to specify the optimization goal. Click on the Add button at the upper right hand corner of the Optimization Goal list. This opens the Optimization Goal Entry dialog box. For instructions on setting your optimization goal, see How do I specify an optimization goal?

5. The Analysis Setup dialog box now displays your Parameters and Optimization Goals and should appear similar to the picture below.
