How do I subdivide my circuit?

Once you have placed your subdividers in your circuit, you are ready to perform the circuit subdivision. To do so, perform the following:

1. Select Tools => Subdivide Circuit from the project editor main menu. The Circuit Subdivision dialog box appears on your display.

2. Enter the desired name for the automatically generated netlist in the Main Netlist Project text entry box. A default name is provided. You may also click on the Browse button to open a browse window which allows you to select an existing filename.

3. Click on the OK button to close this dialog box. The Subproject Specifications dialog box appears on your display.

4. Enter the desired subproject name in each of the section text entry boxes. Default names are provided.

5. Select the feedline length to be added to the subprojects: Suggested Length, Fixed Length or None. The suggested length is calculated by the software and is the default. You may specify a value by selecting Fixed Length and entering a length in the adjacent text entry box. None adds no feedline to the subprojects.

6. Click on the OK button to close the dialog box and perform the subdivide. The subprojects and main netlist project are created by the software and the main netlist project is opened in the project editor window.
