What is the palette of standard geometries?
Geometry Elements - Palette of Standard Geometries
The project editor includes a palette of standard geometries, comprised of commonly used circuit elements, available under the Add Metalization menu. Each item has an associated dialog box which allows you to input the desired parameters for the element. Standard Geometries are not available for dielectric bricks.
Once the element is added to the circuit, it is converted to its component polygons. These polygons may then be manipulated using all the normal project editor functions such as Flip, Rotate, Reshape, Add Points, etc.
Note that there are two ways to add rectangles of metalization in the project editor. The first is to select Tools => Add Metalization => Draw Rectangle which allows you to use your mouse to set the size of the rectangle. The Tools => Add Metalization => Rectangle is the Palette of Standard Geometries element which allows you to enter the dimensions of the rectangle from the keyboard.
Parameters input to a palette dialog box for any element are retained. The next time the dialog box is opened the previously input values are used as the default.
You may optionally have an airbridge automatically added along with any of the spirals.
