Ports-only component is moved to level 0 when you subdivide a circuit

Known Bugs

Symptoms

When you subdivide a circuit which has Ports Only type components, the components are moved to level 0 in the subprojects which are created by the subdivide (Tools => Subdivide Circuit) command.

Cause

A bug in the software causes the component to be moved from the level on which it was placed in the original project to level 0 in the subproject.

Work around

Save the original project you subdivided, close the project, then re-open the project. Subdivide the circuit again; this time the components appear on the correct level.
