     Trying to register Sonnet Lite?
1. License ID
Your License ID should be printed on the Sonnet License Request Form which is included in your shipment or in the email sent to you by Sonnet. If this field is blank, enter "blank" as your License ID. It may also be found in existing installations by starting Sonnet, and selecting Admin->License ID from the Sonnet Task Bar.

2. Host ID
We need the host ID of your license server. If you have a floating license, you may choose any supported platform on your network to act as your server. If you have a node-locked license, your license server is the computer on which the software will run.
For Windows and Linux PC license servers, your Host ID is one of the following:
  • The Ethernet address - after installing Sonnet on the license server, select Admin -> Host ID from the Sonnet Task Bar. Linux users may use the command /sbin/ifconfig eth0 | grep HWaddr
Note: This is NOT your IP address. Ethernet address is also known as MAC address.
  • Your hardware key ID number (if we gave you one) - printed on hardware key
For UNIX license servers, your Host ID is the UNIX operating system hostid - see UNIX hostid page for instructions. For triple-redundant servers, list all three hostids in this field.

Click "Submit" to send this license request form to the Sonnet Keycode Coordinator.
